We are Deborah Hall and Lottie Young, a mother and daughter team who have lived in Bristol our entire lives. After retirement we decided to try our hand at hosting. Since December 2020 we have enjoyed hosting people from all over the country experience all the South Holston and Bristol has to offer. One of our favorite things about hosting is seeing the joy friends and families get from our properties and being a part of the memories they will share for years to come. 

We have two properties and we are so proud to share these spaces with you!

Our first property’s name came easy. Riverview Retreat is exactly what that house is. A place to enjoy the beautiful South Holston River and escape from the day to day. It’s full of local art and history about the area. Naming our newest house we knew we wanted something a little different and a name to honor our past and Leo’s Hideaway was the perfect choice. Leo Carrier is whom the house is named after; he was an amazing father and grandfather. He was born not far from here and built himself and his family a big life in Bristol until his death in 1988. Leo was known around these parts as the King of the Bug Frontier and was a proud Bristol businessman, Marine, and family man. We hope he’d be proud of this house and our business and we hope you visit us soon!
